Most of us will be very grateful for some spring sunshine after a very wet and stormy winter. The Bureau of Meteorology released a number of weather warnings throughout the south-west with many sites experiencing flash flooding, high winds and the coldest winter for at least two decades. Rainfall was recorded above the average for all winter months which came as a blessing after last years particularly dry winter. The vines were certainly in need of a good soaking to replenish the sub-soil moisture and fill the dams as we head into spring.
